How the search maps feature in Google Maps can help you grow your business

The benefits of using Google Maps are not just restricted to giving directions. If you are running a business, the benefits go way beyond that. The Search Google maps feature can prove to be an effective tool for businesses in building a trust factor among their target audience. The Google Street Maps feature allows customers to take a virtual tour of the business. This can be an effective way of attracting customers to your business.

There are many more benefits to the “find street maps” feature in Google Maps for business owners. Some of them are mentioned here.

It builds a connection with your audience

With the help of street maps feature, owners can humanize their businesses. This gives a boost to the comfort level of the customers, and they feel more connected to the place even before visiting it. The comfort also increases the likeliness of the customers choosing your business over your competitors’. Giving a virtual tour of your business also tells the customer that you are trustworthy and you have nothing to hide from them. Rather, you are comfortable disclosing everything to them.

    Increases accessibility

The street maps feature enables 3D accessibility easily. The feature provides a 360-degree tour as soon as the user looks for some results. With so many options to choose from, more and more users are using this feature to pick what’s best for them. When your business shows up on find street maps results, the customers get an idea of what they are getting offered and how your products and services fulfill their needs.

    Using street view for marketing

Street view maps can be a part of the marketing campaign easily. When you put a 360-degree view of the business on the map, you don’t have to go back to it for regular maintenance. It will be stored there forever, and your customers can interact with your photos every day. This can work wonders for small businesses that might not have enough resources at hand for daily maintenance and yet need to be in touch with the customers on a daily basis.

    It aids the research process

It is a common part of the process for consumers to do online research before actually going out to a store or a restaurant. This online research can be done easily with the help of the street maps feature. Customers could get to know your business better if it has been listed on this feature. If it interests them, there are chances that they might pick your business over others.

How to find street maps in the Look Around feature of Apple Maps

After a wait of almost 12 years, Apple Maps has launched its feature to find street maps. There are several attractions to talk about and the interface is clean, as you’d expect from any Apple product. For its Look Around feature, Apple Maps makes use of parallax to make sure that users get a 3D-like depth. The Look Around feature is extremely easy to use. This article talks about two primary ways in which the Look Around feature can be accessed on Apple Maps.

    Use with an address

Open Maps on your Apple device. Manually enter the name of the place or the address that you wish to look around in the bar at the bottom that reads, “Search for a place or addresses.” You’ll get a number of selections and you need to pick the correct address out of these. The location’s map will open and then you can choose either of two options.

There’ll be a binocular icon on the top right corner if you wish to continue with a look around in a minimized way. If the app has the location’s data for Look Around, a Look Around pop-up will be available. To see the image in full screen, there are two arrows towards the top left side of the screen. To exit, you can simply press Done.

The other option is if you’d like to watch on full-screen mode immediately. Look Around preview is available below the address. If you press on the preview image, the image opens in full-screen mode. You can press Done or minimize once you’re finished viewing in full-screen mode.

    Use without an address

You can simply drop the dropper of Apple Maps at a location to look around even if you do not know the address of a location. This, however, will only work when Look Around will be available in that particular area. More often than not, you must zoom in very deep for Apple to identify the location. If you’re not zoomed in enough, the binoculars option will not show up.

This is how you do it. Open Maps and go to a specific location. Keep zooming in till you find the icon of binoculars on the top right corner. A specific spot will be chosen by Google somewhere in the area selected by you. The preview of Look Around will then take you around the place, and you can then view different areas.

Samsung also released new wireless earbuds that will now be competing against Apple’s Airpods. All phones from the Galaxy S20 series will be made available to the public starting from March 6, 2020.

Let’s take an in-depth look at the features of the latest Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

    Display

With Ultra, you get a massive 6.9 inches Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and 511ppi density. It also comes with a robust Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

    Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra stands out from the other phones because of the camera setup. It features a 108MP wide-angle primary camera with a 48MP Telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. The phone is capable of zooming up to 100x and can still manage to capture superb resolution images. All S20 devices can capture 8K videos at 24fps. The phone also comes with a 40-megapixel selfie camera with an F2.2 aperture lens.

    Performance

The hardware is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset for the smooth functioning of the device. Its storage options include 128GB, 256GB with 12GB of RAM and 512GB with 16GB of RAM. One of the great things about Samsung’s latest S20 variants is they support the revolutionary 5G connectivity because of the high-tech Snapdragon 865 chipset.

    Battery

The phone is powered by an enormous 5000mAh battery. Samsung has also improved its wireless charging speed with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. The fast charging feature is compatible with both wired and wireless phones.

    Price

Samsung Galaxy’s smartest line-up to date

Every year, Samsung launches new products during the annual Galaxy Unpacked event. This year was no different. The brand announced an upgrade to its flagship Galaxy and unveiled a brand-new addition to the Samsung Galaxy line, namely S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra, along with some other affordable range of phones and accessories.

    Galaxy S20 Series
The new Galaxy series comes with a handful of upgrades. These phones have upgraded batteries, better privacy protection, smarter AI-integrated camera functions, enhanced screen, and better gaming experience. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra especially has a smartly structured multi-lens camera that can provide a zoom of up to 100X. Some unique new features include the space zoom, 8K videos, anti-rolling stabilization, and the intriguing single-take mode. The single-take mode enables videos and pictures to be clicked and shot without you having to press down on the shutter button repeatedly.

The three new additions to the Galaxy line are aimed at providing users with better overall-smartphone experience along with 5G support. Yes, you read that right! These phones are 5G-enabled. This also gives Samsung a 7-month head start to Apple’s much-anticipated launch of 5G phones. The S20 phones will be officially available starting March 6 and are said to be ranged around $1,000 and above, depending on the model and specs.

    Galaxy Buds+
The quite predictably named Galaxy Buds+, Samsung’s wireless earbuds, were also unveiled at the said event. Boasting of a battery backup for a solid 11 hours, these are surely a leap in the right direction from their precursors, Gear Iconx. The plus side of these is that they are priced around $149 and are compatible even with iOS. For everyone avoiding the Airpods, pre-orders start February 14 and will be available in stores March 6 onwards.

    Z Flip

The event held at San Francisco also saw a glimpse of Samsung’s renewed attempt at bringing in flip-smartphones. After its unfortunate failed attempt with the Galaxy Fold, it is going to be interesting to see how Galaxy Z Flip unfolds. Costing about $1,380, it is $100 cheaper than its rival Motorola Razr. The folding mechanism on the Z Flip allows you to leave it halfway open which is an advantage for tripod-free time-lapse videos and hands-free video calls.

While the unpacked event has caused many to have some new phone goals, it still is a hefty price to pay. However, considering the features, we are quite excited to see how the users feel.
